"Building Knowledge Bridges on Dairy Farm Management for Future" Project Opening Meeting

"Building Knowledge Bridges On Dairy Farm Management For Future" Project of Aydın Breeding Cattle Cultivators Union, which has been funded under Civil Society Dialogue-II Project - Fisheries and Agriculture Component and has a total budget of 150.506,20 Euros, was introduced to public with an opening meeting at Chamber of Certified Public Accountants of Aydın on 26th July 2011.

Mr. Hüseyin Avni Coþ, Governor of Aydın, Mr. Ahmet Yücel, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry for EU Affairs and Mr. Ali Gültekin Kılınç and Ms. Semiha Öyüþ, Members of Parliament of Aydın, honored the opening meeting. The meeting ended with a cocktail following the speeches of Mr. Mehmet Sedat Güngör, President of Aydın Breeding Cattle Cultuvators Union, Mr. Servet Baþkaya, Aydın Milk Producers Union, Mr. Ahmet Yücel, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry for EU Affairs and Mr. Hüseyin Avni Coþ, Governor of Aydın.

"Building Knowledge Bridges on Dairy Farm Management" Project, which is implemented by Aydın Breeding Cattle Cultivators Union as a beneficiary together with Aydın Milk Producers Union, International Committee for Animal Registration (ICAR) and DHV Group as partners of the project, has the budget of 150.506,20 Euros. The project is co-financed by Aydın Breeding Cattle Cultivators Union with 20.980 Euros and by ICAR with 2.046 Euros as well.  

In the framework of the project, which will be implemented within 12 months, preparing farmers to meet the standards of modern, high quality agricultural production to re-orientate production towards environment, animal welfare, and quality and identifying the needs of dairy cattle farms in Aydin is aimed.
