The Opening Ceremony of the "E-Info About Culture in Kelkit"

The opening ceremony of the "E-Info about Culture in Kelkit" project conducted by Niksar Culture and Traditions Revitalization Association in the scope of the Türkiye and EU Civil Society Dialogue-II Project (CSD-II): Culture and Arts Grant Scheme was held in Niksar Castle Recreation Area on 26 July 2011. Föreningen Österlens Folkhögskola Association from Sweden takes also part in the project as the project partner. The main aim of the so-called project is to contribute promotion of the cultural and artistic values of the Kelkit basin all over the world.

At the opening ceremony Kayhan Özüm, Director of the Civil Society, Communication and Culture Directorate mentioned that Niksar as a historical capital will claim its place in culture tourism with this project and stated that the Civil Society Dialogue-II Project constitutes one of the best examples of cooperation among NGO's.
