Egemen Bağış met with EU Commission Director General for Enlargement Stefano Sannino
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ met with EU Commission Director General for Enlargement Stefano Sannino at Ministry for EU Affairs on July 19, 2011.
During the technical meeting, which was held before and chaired by Acting Undersecretary Ambassador Haluk Ilıcak and European Commission Director General for Enlargement Stefano Sannino, Türkiye's EU accession process and measures to overcome the problems faced in the negotiations were discussed.
The meeting continued with the working lunch participated by Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye Marc Pierini, Head of the Directorate-General for Enlargement Unit for Türkiye Jean Christophe Filori and the Ministry for EU Affairs Deputy Undersecretaries Dr. F. H. Burak Erdenir, Ahmet Yücel, Mehmet Cangir and related Directors.
