EUSG Hosts Students of IES Abroad-EU Center

The students from EU Center of Institute for the International Education of Students, IES Abroad visited the Secretariat General for the EU Affairs on Tuesday, 28 June 2011.

Diplomatic Advisor to Minister for EU Affairs Mr. Faruk Kaymakcı briefed the students on Türkiye's EU accession process, Türkiye's European Union Communication Strategy and the present situation of the negotiations. Emphasizing that Türkiye is determined in its path of accession to the EU, he said that European Union provides an anchor for Türkiye's modernisation goal while Türkiye's membership to the EU is a win-win relation: for Türkiye, for Europe and for beyond.
