EUSG Hosts Students of Gazi University
The students of Gazi University, Department of International Relations visited the Secretariat General for the EU Affairs on Tuesday, 17 May 2011.
Dr. F.H. Burak Erdenir, Deputy Secretary General for EU Affairs, held an informal briefing session with the students.
Dr. Erdenir briefed the students on Türkiye's EU accession process and the present situation of the negotiations. Emphasizing that Türkiye is determined in its path of accession to the EU, he said: "Both sides clearly need each other. EU provides an anchor for Turkish reform, while Türkiye may provide solutions to the problems that confront the EU today".
