Study Visit to Brussels

With the participation of the newly recruited Assistant Experts of the Secretariat General for EU Affairs, a study visit with a focus on financial cooperation was realized in Brussels, on 10 – 12 May, 2011.

In this context, Permanent Delegation of Türkiye to the EU, the European Parliament, the Commission and the TURBO Office were visited whereby the participants have been informed about the functioning of the mentioned institutions and different aspects of the process of EU – Türkiye financial cooperation. 

Moreover, representatives of the related Directorate Generals of the Commission informed the participants about the structures, processes and procedures regarding the implementation of different components of IPA, the EU’s Instrument for pre-Accession Assistance.
