'Civil Society Dialogue-II' Culture and Arts Component Grant Implementation Training was conducted

A "Grant Implementation Training" event was held in Istanbul at the "Sepetçiler Kasrı" in the scope of the Türkiye and EU Civil Society Dialogue-II Project (CSD-II) for culture and arts grant beneficiaries between 12-14 May 2011.

A total of 34 participants attended the training event with 1 representative from the EU Delegation to Türkiye, 2 representatives from the Central Finance and Contacts Unit, 8 representatives from the Secretariat General for EU Affairs, 23 representatives from 19 NGOs- grant beneficiaries selected.

The training activity conducted under the "Culture and Arts Grant Scheme" of the CSD-II Project lasted for 3 days and aimed to support the implementation of the program.  

During the training activity conducted by the Technical Assistance Team experts of the CSD-II Project, participants were provided with information about the EU Practical Guide, monitoring grant contracts, technical and financial documentation, visibility and promotion guidelines, reporting and using the Monitoring Information Systems (MIS).  

It is expected that the information and experience gained through the training shall contribute to effective and productive outcomes as a result of implementation of the grant programs by the grant beneficiaries within the Culture and Arts Component.
