2011 Friendship and Peace Rally in Ankara
Minister for European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mr. Egemen Bağıþ has given the start to the Ankara departure of 2011 Friendship and Peace Rally.
The rally, supported by the Secretariat General for European Union Affairs as a civil society initiative within the framework of 9 May Europe Day activities, will go from Ankara to Kırıkkale, Kırþehir, Nevþehir, Kayseri, Kahramanmaraþ, Adıyaman, Urfa, Mardin, Gaziantep, Hatay, Adana and Mersin.
Minister for European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mr. Egemen Bağıþ said in his speech that it was a great pleasure for him to host the rally.
The rally consists of 355 cars and 666 participants.
