Partnership Forum of Black Sea Basin Cross Border Cooperation Programme Was Held
Black Sea Basin ENPI CBC Programme's Partnership Forum was held on 5th May 2011 Thursday at the Ottoman Legacy Hotel in Istanbul. The organization of this event was realized with the support of EUSG, Central Finance and Contract Unit (CFCU), Joint Managing Authority (Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism of Romania) and Regional Capacity Building Initiative (RCBI).
In his opening remarks, Deputy Secretary General of EUSG Mr. Ahmet Yücel emphasized the importance of the Program for improving cooperation between the participant countries even though the budget of the program is relatively low. Mr. Yücel continued with saying that with this Programme the Partner Countries have entered to a new phase of uniting themselves on the basis of common interests rather than divisions of conflict.

Recommendations were provided to the participants by the Programme authorities and RCBI regarding the development of the project proposals and establishing partnerships. The ways for building partnerships and progress towards accomplishments were explained by means of exemplifying partnership agreements. Questions of participants were answered per category. Among various proposed project ideas, projects partners having similar ones in similar fields were gathered. Individual meetings were arranged to develop the partnerships. Besides these the participant were provided with the information as to the forthcoming second call for proposals.
