The "Volunteers" will explain the European Union
"The European Union Communication Volunteers Programme", implemented by The Secretariat General for European Union Affairs (EUSG), will continue with a training program that will be held between April 21st and 22nd 2011, in Ankara.
In the framework of "Türkiye's European Union Communication Strategy", and "2011 European Volunteers Year" context, The Secretariat General for European Union Affairs selected 64 EU Communication Volunteers among more than hundred applicants, throughout Türkiye.
The volunteers, who wished to explain the European Union to the schools and non-governmental institutions, obtained their two-day training in Istanbul. Currently, the volunteers living in Ankara are getting trained.
The training session opening speech launched by The Secretariat General for European Union Affairs Acting Secretary General Ambassador H.E. Haluk ILICAK covered the subjects of "EU's Organisational Structure and Legal Order", "Accession Policy and Negotiation Process", "EU and Türkiye: Currently Implemented Civil Society Dialogue Projects", "EU and Türkiye: Political Reform Process", "Türkiye's European Union Communication Strategy" and "Communication Training".
Once the training will be completed, The Secretariat General for European Union Affairs Acting Secretary General Ambassador H.E. Haluk ILICAK, will present their certificates and ID cards to the participating volunteers.
