Seminar Organized by Journalist Association of Anatolian Side

"Journalist Association of Anatolian Side" (Anadolu Yakası Gazeteciler Derneği), comprising of 40 members from newspapers and magazines located in the Anatolian Side of İstanbul, organized the first of a series of training seminars on April 16, 2011. On behalf of the Secretariat General for EU Affairs, the coordinator of the Directorate for Research and Documentation, Ms. Baþak İlisulu and local media advisor Ms. Derya Akçal participated in the seminar.

Within the framework of the seminar, the journalists were informed about the projects conducted by the Secretariat General in the field of local media. Moreover, information regarding media grant programme and the education component targeting media members of the Civil Society Dialogue - 3 project is provided to the participants. The implementation of the Civil Society Dialogue -3 Project will start in the second half of 2011.
