The Competition of Young Communicators on the Path to the EU Found Its Winners
Young Communicators give clear message on EU
The "Competition of Young Communicators on the Path to the EU," implemented by the Secretariat General for EU Affairs found its winners this weekend.
The winners in the Slogan category are: "Bu Değiþim Hepimize İYİ GELECEK" - İstanbul Bilgi University - Ceren Bettemir, Baþak Karaman and Gizem Yücelen
The winners in the Television category are: "Hayatımız Alaturka - Standardı Avrupa" - İstanbul Bilgi University- Hazar Deniz Aksaylı, Hakan Güney, Ahmet Alper Baþkan and Açelya Köse
The winners in the Radio category are: "Avrupa'da" (In the Europe)- İstanbul Bilgi University - Ali Kaan Kılıç, Emel Gamze Sargın, Asena Kılıç and Beril Dedeoğlu
The winners in the Printed Materials and Outdoor advertisement: "To Higher with Türkiye" (Türkiye ile Daha Yükseğe) - Iþık University - Hande Özgeldi
The Competition, which was launched by Minister for European Union Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ on 25 November 2010, aims to allow the youth to use their creative ideas for the European Union, as well as learn more about the Union and the Turkish-EU relations.
The competition was realized through the participation of 24 universities and five vocational high schools.
"The competition is the first in terms of benefit from the creativity of young communicators for overcoming the prejudices and the lack of information in the public of Türkiye and European Union," Mr Bağıþ said at the press conference.
The winners of the four categories will pay a visit to Brussels and Budapest this summer, while the first runner-ups will visit Brussels and the second runner-ups will get technical equipment.
