Egemen Bağış Hosts "İstanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture" Closing Dinner
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ hosted "European Capital of Culture 2010 Closing Dinner" at Les Ottomans Restaurant on 23 February.
In his speech at the dinner where Istanbul's consul-generals and officials of cultural centers were invited, Minister Bağıþ underlined that more than 9600 activities were realized in Istanbul in 2010.
Minister Bağıþ said: "If I were to leave one single thought with you from tonight, it would be my firm belief that Europe cannot be complete without İstanbul."
