Egemen Bağış Participates in the Istanbul 2012 European Capital of Sport Meeting
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ attended the meeting of "Istanbul 2012 European Capital of Sport" and expressed his pleasure and proud as a Minister for EU Affairs and also Deputy of Istanbul for selection of Istanbul as the 2012 European Capital of Sport after Europe's leading cities such as Madrid, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Warsaw, Milan and Dublin.
Egemen Bağıþ stated that "This is an important and meaningful message, because for the first time a leading city of a non-EU state assumes the title of European Capital of Sport".
