EUSG and Turkish Airlines Signs a Cooperation Protocol

The Secretariat General for EU Affairs (EUSG) together with Turkish Airlines will explain the key role of Türkiye to Europe's Future in all over the world.

The Secretariat General for EU Affairs (EUSG) and the Turkish Airlines launched a new campaign for informing both Turkish and European public and to overcome the prejudices in the accession process of Türkiye.

Publications prepared by the Secretariat General for EU Affairs will reach both Turkish and European passengers of Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet flights.

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Mr. Egemen Bağıþ and Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Turkish Airline Mr. Hamdi Topçu held a joint press conference and signed a cooperation protocol on 2nd of February, 2011.

Minister Bağıþ said that the campaign will create a better understanding of the whole process with the EU.

Bağıþ also touched upon his visit to the International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust in Auschwitz. "As the children of the Anatolian Culture, which internalized the motto of loving the created for the sake of the creator, we will continue to cry out our invitation for peace, tolerance and dialogue against the inhuman approaches and exercises given rise to fatalities, such as Auschwitz," he said.

EUSG publications will reach to 41 cities in Türkiye, 69 flying points in Europe and 44 destinations covering Fareast and Africa.
