Egemen Bağış Received 'Religious Freedom' Award in Brussels

The conference themed "Religious Freedom: Türkiye's Bridge to the European Union" has began in Brussels, Belgium. Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ received the "Religious Freedom" award.

 

Egemen Bağıþ stated that the word Islam means ‘peace' and pointed out that Qur'an says "For you is your religion, and for me is my religion" and Islam is a religion of tolerance.
