Egemen Bağış Attended the Opening Ceremony of the New French Cultural Center

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ attended the official opening ceremony of the new French Cultural Center together with French Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Bernard Kouchner and made an opening speech.

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ emphasized that relations between Türkiye and France have always been priviliged since 16th century onwards, and expressed his gratitude to make the opening of the new French Cultural Center, which will "breakdown the boundaries", together with the French Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Bernard Kouchner.

In his speech, French Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Bernard Kouchner stated that "This center will of no doubt be a new guarantee of the trust in the future of our friendship which will flourish through the dialogue between our cultures, values, shared accumulation and identities". He continued his speech by stating his gratification of the decision of Türkiye to open the Yunus Emre Cultural Center in Paris.
