The Seventh Internal Coordination and Harmonization Commutity (İKUK) Meeting Was Held On September 22, 2010

The Seventh İKUK Meeting, chaired by H.E. Egemen Bağıþ, the Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator, was held in the EUSG with participation of representatives from all public institutions.

The major agenda item of the meeting was the activities that are going to be carried out for the continuation of the reforms after the approval of the Constitutional Amendment Package on September 12, 2010. Besides, 1. and 2. Platforms of the EU Strategy on Türkiye's accession process were the other agenda items of the meeting. Within this context, the progress achieved in Türkiye's membership negotiations, our goals, reforms needed in the fields of harmonization with the EU Acquis and implementation of legal and administrative precautions were covered.
