 Acting Secretary General for EU Affairs Haluk Ilıcak Discusses EU-Türkiye Ties with Members of Youth Orchestra

Ambassador Haluk Ilıcak, the acting Secretary General of the EU Affairs, gave an informal lecture on the European Union to the National Youth Orchestra on August 19, at Sabancı University. Ambassador Ilıcak underlined both the effects of Türkiye's EU accession process and the need for Türkiye to be part of the Union's decision-making mechanisms, as well as responding to the questions by the 100-strong orchestra under the direction of Cem Mansur.Ilıcak also attended the National Youth Orchestra's Concert at Aghia Irini. The orchestra's upcoming concerts in Türkiye and in Europe are financed under the scope of Türkiye's European Union Communication Strategy.
