Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ Met With Belgium's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Stephen Vanackere
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ met with Belgium's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Steven Vanackere in EUSG's Istanbul Office. Two ministers discussed Türkiye's negotiation process and the priorities of the Belgian Presidency that took office on 1 July 2010.
Minister Vanackere underlined the fact that the final objective of the negotiations was membership and every candidate country would be getting prepared for membership under equal conditions. Minister Bağıþ mentioned that Türkiye is determined to be a member of the EU and is continuing to take the necessary steps resolutely.
