The 11th Meeting of Accession Conference with Croatia was Held
The European Council decided to open negotiations on October 3, 2005 with Croatia and Türkiye and afterwards the eleventh meeting of the Accession Conference with Croatia at Deputy level was held on July 27, 2010 in Brussels. At the conference, the Council decided to close provisionally "Chapter 12: Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Policy" and "Chapter 32: Financial Control" by noting that these chapters do not require further negotiations.
Since the start of negotiations, all 33 screened chapters have been opened, thus there is no chapter that remains unopened for the moment. With the closure of further two chapters, the number of closed chapters arrived to 22 and therefore Croatia has concluded two-thirds of negotiation talks.
