Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ attended the Türkiye-European Union (EU) Ministerial Political Dialogue Meeting
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağıþ attended the Türkiye-European Union (EU) Ministerial Political Dialogue meeting, together with Prof.Dr. Ahmet Davutoğlu accompanoied by high level bureaucrats and diplomats. Together they welcomed the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and European Commission Vice-President Catherine Ashton and The EU Commissioner for Enlargement Stefan Fule and their delegations.
"Political Dialogue" meetings replaced the "Troika" with the adoption of the Lisbon Treaty.During the meeting, regional issues such as Iran, the Middle East, Türkiye-Israel crisis and Turkish-Armenian relations were reviewed.The EU membership negotiations and the recent constitutional ammendments package were discussed as well.
